I like, but don't love, Essie's First Base Base Coat. My polish definitely lasts longer with First Base than with no base coat. I also like how quickly it dries - by the time I am done with my tenth nail, my first nail is dry and ready for the first coat of color.
Unfortunately, this base coat does not keep my polish on for more than one or two days. My nail color is constantly chipping no matter what products i use and Essie's First Base is definitely not the answer. For the price, it's a decent salon-quality base coat. I'm still looking for my "miracle" base coat, however.

I didn't find this product to be special--it pretty much acts like any other coat of nailpolish. I had chips after the first day.
