Extra mineral oil that is added as part of the blend. The blend developed, includes an anti-bacterial agent, Aloe vera oil, lanolin and mineral oil work together to moisturize and condition dry skin. That is one use for the paraffin, moisturizing. The other use is medicinal or for heat therapy. The paraffin was designed to be used for either application, moisturizing or heat therapy

This wax was very, very oily. The one I used in the past left very little oil on the skin. After using is one I would have to wash and wash my hands. Almost pointless.
