5Beautiful! Will buy again.Oct 22, 2009
By J. Morrison
I bought this polish at Target yesterday. I was expecting it to be a deep purple, judging by the bottle, but instead got a rich, mysterious indigo, with aquatic undertones, and hazy purple glimmer. It reminds me of mermaids and outer space! The first coat was fairly sheer and streaky, but the second coat made it absolutely solid. I am in love with this polish, it's ever better than what I thought I was buying. Also, it's a great alternative to black, highly overrated in my opinion. Go for it! You won't be disappointed.

*I have medium tan skin, the color looks strong yet refined. I truly believe it would flatter any coloring, even guys!

first try - beautiful color but too light after 2 coats. second try - i had a bottle of black polish which i used as a first coat and the opi as the second. looked great! practically black but you can see the blue in the light.

5A Gorgeous Deep Navy PolishOct 26, 2009
By The Mariners Fan "Eriko"
This color in the container looks like its going to be a deep eggplant with irredescent shimmer. But when you paint it on your nails its a beautiful deep navy color which in different lights can look purple, blue, or a little on the black side. It takes a few coats of polish to get a nice cover on the nail. A great touch would be to add a mattifying top coat to the color, it looks really nice. You can still see the shimmer but its more muted but not dull. Great for any skin tone (i'm darker skinned and this just makes tan skin pop)

5In the NavyJan 14, 2008
By M. E. Santos "Patient 307"
This polish is a great midnight blue that won't be confused with the "Black Satin" everyone else is wearing so you can make your own unique statement - unless it becomes a trend, of course. But at least you can say "before blue was the new black, I was already halfway through my Russian Navy bottle."

1DissapointedJan 31, 2012

Wrong colour: Purple NOT navy and wrong finish: shimmery and glittery NOT matte. I hated it, would return it if I could!
