If you want to try your own natural manicure - buy the CND Shellac base coat, CND Shellac in Negligee and Cream Puff and the CND Shellac top coat. Don't forget that you will need a UV lamp as well to cure these products... They look great together! I purchased this system to try at home (those $40 mainures at the salon were really adding up!) and I'm very happy with the results. Yes it is an investment in product, but it will pay for itself in a few applications. I had very thin nails that split and now they are long and look beautiful.. Not to mention I am thrilled how natural this product looks on..

I'm giving 5 stars to the whole Shellac system (Base Coat, Color Coat and Top Coat) as it only works when used together. I have very soft nails and they always brake up when they reach certain length, but since I've been using the shellac system my nails got stronger and look more beautiful then ever. I'm using the Negligee color as I like the natural look and I couldn't be more happy with the results. This system is not only for those who like to keep the nail polish beautiful for a minimum of 2 weeks, but also for those who like to let their nails grow longer and stronger. I'm so happy CND came up with this product! I can finally have beautiful nails as well!
I also wanted to mention how easy this system is to do it yourself. I've been doing them at home and I had absolutely no problem applying them. My nails look better then EVER!
As to the Negligee color - it is so far the only color from shellac I've been using, and I absolutely love the natural look this polish gives me. Will probably order some other colors for special occasions, but for my regular day this meet my needs perfectly!

It helps if you apply a light coat of bonder on the nail bed. Then apply the Shellac base coat and cure. Then the colour coat and cure. Then apply the top coat and cure...turns out perfect every time! After finishing the top coat, you'll notice a slightly tacky finish on your nails. Take a lint free pad and soak it with 91% alcohol and rub it off. Voila! Perfection!

VERY hard to find product delivered as promised! (Not like some other vendors trying to get your money, then telling you you they should have it in a week!) Turnaround was quick and painless. Terrific vendor!!!

I bought this along with cream puff, top coat and base coat and my nails were gorgeous after just one coat of all. I did a double coat of cream puff and the negligee and found it was better to just do one coat of all. I applied it in the following order: 1.base coat 2.cream puff 3.negligee 4.top coat. I cured it in between each coat and only used alcohol after the base coat and after the top coat. I also did a friends nails and it looked very professional and shiny. I also did my toes about a month ago and had no chipping yet. I had to send the dryer back because I had a problem with it so I'm waiting to redo my toes and they're holding out really good. My hands only lasted a week but that's because I was cleaning and it chipped. But it's better than paying 50 dollars every two weeks!! Removal was easy and my nails were not damaged at all.
