No Dry Time! Great Color!Jul 15, 2010

Tutti Frutti was the first Shellac polish I tried and I fell in love with the Shellac polishes. You need a UV lamp to cure it (maybe the user Angela Thompson who gave it 1 star was using the wrong kind of lamp or no lamp at all?) You also need the CND Shellac Base and Top coats along with CND Scrubfresh to work with the polish for maximum results. And you have to use a 36 Watt UV nail lamp to cure it! First clean the nails with Scrubfresh then apply the Base Coat- cure for 10 seconds in the UV lamp. Then you do 1 coat of polish and cure for 2 minutes, then a second coat and cure it in the lamp for 2 minutes. Then you do the top coat and cure that for 2 minutes. After applying the top coat you wipe off the inhibition layer (the sticky tacky layer) with rubbing alcohol and you have a high gloss, long lasting chip free manicure that is totally dry! You can touch it and scratch at it and it won't dent or smudge. NO DRY TIME!!! It is totally dry after curing! Also a tip for removal: you need 100% acetone. Soak cotton balls in Acetone and then place a cotton ball on your nail wrapped in tin foil to keep it on for 10 minutes and then use a wood manicure stick to scrape the polish off- it should come right off! If you don't use 100% acetone it will be difficult to take off.

Fun spring colorDec 09, 2010
By S. Halwas This color is very vibrant. It's not really appropriate for Christmas time, but would be great in spring. It looks really cute on my 9 year old daughter though. The color shown is very accurate (on my mac).
I love the Shellac system. I haven't broken a single nail since I have started using it. I don't even have to file very much when I reapply, because the tips of my nails are protected. It's very easy to remove.
A tip for DIYs: Use THIN layers. Treat this stuff like paint, not nail polish. You can go over it again and again until only a thin layer of product is left. I found that if I used too much, my nails started to look fake.

Amazing Nail Polish!Mar 09, 2011
By Lalita Tawjareon I had my first and only Shellac experience so far when I got my nails done in Florida last month. I chose the Tutti Frutti shade. The experienced Peruvian nail technician at the Florida salon applied Shellac base coat, then the Shellac Tutti Frutti shade, and then the Shellac top coat. I had to use a UV lamp as well. I have tried all brands of nail polish and every color imaginable over the course of my lifetime, but in all honesty, I have received the most positive comments on this Shellac Tutti Frutti nail polish. I'm not in the best of health right now, and the main reason why I got my nails done at the Florida salon was to get my mind off of my health problems. But I honestly never thought that this Shellac nail polish and this particular shade would get this much attention! Some of the Florida nail salon employees and customers instantly commented on the shade as I was getting my manicure and pedicure done. My co-workers loved the shade. Over the past month, waitresses at restaurants have come up to me complimenting me on my nail polish. In my medical visits over the past month, nurses would make nice comments on my nails. Even my neighbor said to me a week ago, "You may feel like you're falling apart health-wise, but your nails look great!", and this is a month after I had my nails done! Even my mother asked me whether I put new nail polish on, and I said, "No! This was from Florida a month ago!" And my mother usually likes red shades but she liked my Shellac Tutti Frutti shade. I'm literally blown away how long this nail polish lasts, and how pleasing, beautiful, and vibrant this Tutti Frutti shade is. Even when I'm literally sitting in a corner wearing no makeup, no jewelry, and just casual clothes, minding my own business, complete strangers have still come up to me and made nice comments about this Shellac Tutti Frutti nail polish. I'm just astonished how people are still saying great things about this Shellac Tutti Frutti nail polish even when it's peeling off a month later. You honestly don't need to spend loads of money on jewelry, clothes, purses, shoes, etc., when you can just get nice comments from wearing Shellac Tutti Frutti nail polish alone! My recommendation is for people to buy this nail polish bottle and bring it with you to have a Shellac-trained nail professional properly apply it on your nails. Or you can follow the steps fellow Amazon reviewer Amanda posted. It's worth it to buy this nail polish and to go to a nail salon where someone can apply the Shellac nail polish. I truly believe for those who love nail polish, you haven't really had an amazing nail experience until you've had the Shellac experience. Yes, it's more costly to have a Shellac manicure in a nail salon, but it's so worth it to try Shellac at least once in your life, even if it's for prom, a wedding, an awards event, a party, a graduation, etc. If you want to step your game up for a special event or time, then try Shellac! I give this nail polish an A+!

Hot pinkSep 10, 2011
By sjcm I just put this on yesterday and am very happy with the color. It is a hot pink with iridescent blue shine. I love bright colors on my nails, and since these gel colors are expensive, I hope I am helping with the description. One more note, I used different brand of base and top coat (gelish) and they are compatible!

More than 14 days last!!Oct 03, 2010

"Love Kindle!"
I am Nail-tech and couldn't find this color in local stores so I order on Amazon and it is beautiful color! I tried on my pre-teen daughter and lasted 16 days perfect! I love CND and Shellac is the way to go! Good bye to acrylic , silk and gel nails! recommend to everyone. ( I hear few people had reaction to it but these people have reaction to acrylic or gel products also most of time) so it will give great resolute just don't forget it's still polish and people who have trouble with regular polish could not last whole 2weeks (could be 1week but more than regular polish at least!)
I love "Shellacing" !!
